Jesus commissioned his followers to "go, and make disciples"(Matthew 28). We don't have to travel to far off places to accomplish this. There are people in our own community in need of discipleship. There are those of us that have progressed in our spiritual maturity, capable of being a "Paul" to someone who needs guidance in their spiritual walk. There are those who are a "Timothy," but are uncertain as to how to find their "Paul". 


Disciple Us was created to be a resource to connect those who need discipling with those willing to disciple them.  We have hit some roadblocks along the way that differ from our original vision, but it is still our hope to bring light to the need for discipleship and direct people to resources that will help them carry on the work Christ commanded us to do. 


We envision this being a work among the entire Body of Christ; not limited to denominations or congregations. We picture mature Christians stepping up to mentor and disciple those who are seeking spiritual maturity. As those individuals grow and make the transition from believer to disciple, we see them able and willing to reach into the lives of others.
